"Come unto me all you that labour and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28)

This is a great invitation from Jesus to all those who are in need of rest. I am sure one has to search hard to find a person who does not need rest. Therefore this offer from Jesus is yours.

Jesus offers and gives future rest and present rest. The future rest is the hope of those who have trusted Him for eternal life, who have anchored their faith in His unfailing love, forgiveness and grace. Have you done this? If not here is an opportunity to trust Jesus for eternal life and thus embrace the hope of His eternal rest.

The present rest is now; oh this is so precious to know, giving the restlessness, and the hectic pace of society. When there is chaos and frustration around us, agitation and disappointment, Jesus says "come to me" when the way is foggy and threatening, Jesus says "come to me" what an invitation, "I will give you rest"
